Each of the 133 guest rooms and four suites has its own individual style inspired by German film and cinema history centred on the nearby Babelsberg studios.

The building is one of the top addresses in the city and occupies a prominent location at Allee nach Sanssoucis 1. Upon completion in the year 2000 and successful opening phase, Salvis AG handed over the property to an institutional investor.
